AFoCR welcomes the Czech President Petr Pavel during his first official visit to the United States.

AFOCR directors will have an opportunity to meet President Pavel and other Czech dignitaries during the gala organized at the Bohemian National Hall.

Jack White, a former member of the AFOCR’s board of directors, passed away on July 26, 2023. He was almost 102 years old.

He played an instrumental role in rebuilding the Woodrow Wilson statue in Prague and the installation of a statue of the first Czech president Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk in Washington D.C.

The Masaryk statue was a gift to the United States from the Czech Republic.

The event featured prominent speakers on business and technology topics including entrepreneurship, AI, climate change, and diversity.

The new exhibit organized by the museum and the former Czech Ambassador to the US and AFoCR Advisor Martin Palous, opened on May 24, 2023.

As part of the very well organized, high level visit to the US, AFoCR hosted Speaker Marketa Pekarova Adamova and an accompanying delegation.

The European Union and its Embassies opened their doors to the public for a day of culture, food, music, and more. AFoCR participated at the Czech Embassy.
