Wreath-Laying Ceremony

To commemorate Czech National Day, Ambassador Miloslav Stašek presented opening remarks celebrating the legacy of Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk at the Masaryk Memorial in Washington, DC.

Director Alan Meltzer of the Office of Central European Affairs at the U.S. Department of State, Slovenské veľvyslanectvo v USA / Slovak Embassy in USA Deputy Chief of Mission Boris Ecker, and American Friends of the Czech Republic (AFoCR) Vice President Barbara Gibian also spoke during the wreath-laying ceremony, emphasizing our democratic values.
