Trashmore to talk about stars and the galaxy with astronomers from the University of Iowa. Over 100 years ago, Milan Štefánik made a much more intense climb up Mount Blanc to study the orbit of the moon. Not only was Štefánik an astronomer, but he also was a politician who played a vital role in the formation of Czechoslovakia in 1918. The National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library strives to make its programs and facilities accessible to all our patrons.
